What are Buddy's Support Obligations?
The main priority for the Support Team at Buddy is your satisfaction. Our support agents will assist in multiple ways, including:
- Guide users on how to use Buddy
- Educate new clients on how to use Buddy
- Respond to queries about Buddy or Buddy-produced content (e.g. payslips, reports)
- Follow up with any issues experienced by customers
- Welcome feedback and forward requests internally
What is Out of Scope of Buddy's Obligations?
However, the support team at Buddy will not assist with the following unless exceptional circumstances arise:
- Perform actions on the behalf of the client
- Advise on how to pay employees
- Give any legal or accounting advice
- Change or manipulate any user-created Legal Documents (Such as Tax Forms)
Although agents occasionally share their knowledge based on their experience, this can only be a personal opinion. The support agents cannot be held responsible for such expression. We advise all customers to seek legal or accounting professionals where advice is required or to contact official local authorities, such as the CFR or the DIER.
The agents have the permission to refuse to answer any query unrelated to services not provided by Buddy.
What Are The Client's Obligations?
As the client, you are utilising Buddy as a tool but remain responsible for your account. Here are some of the things that you are expected to do:
- Be Responsible for Data
As the client, you are responsible for your company data on Buddy. This means you are responsible for validating both what is inputted and outputted through Buddy to ensure that all documents are accurate and valid. - Be Knowledgeable and Willing to Learn
Buddy provides the software but does not replace an accountant or HR professional. Therefore, it is important that the client is knowledgeable of local regulations that impact their employees. - Know Your Company
Although legal frameworks exist, there are flexibilities on how companies may operate. What is true for your company may not be true for other companies. Thus, it is important to have a good understanding of how your company operates and any internal regulations or processes that are not outlined in legal notices. - Communicate Respectfully
When contacting one of our team members, please be respectful. We understand that HR and payroll tasks can be time-sensitive and stressful; however, rude messages towards our staff will not be tolerated.
