The Scheduled Tasks section in the Advisor menu shows any scheduled EverRoll™ tasks, along with their status. By default, Buddy will prioritise showing upcoming pending tasks.
Creating the First Automated Tasks
To create automated tasks, one has to first enable the EverRoll™: Automated Payroll and Tasks for the client's pay schedule.
- Tasks will be automatically created if Buddy detects an open payroll, whose execution dates would be future-dated
- If you have no open payroll, you ought to Run Payroll and open an upcoming payroll
After enabling EverRoll™ and opening a payroll, check the Scheduled Tasks to ensure the execution dates and tasks are planned as expected.
Running Actions Ahead of Schedule
Each pending action will have an option to execute the action ahead of its schedule.
Filter for the organisation you want to run tasks for and click the Play action to execute the task there and then. You will notice the status updating to show whether it's been successful or failed.
Cancelling Tasks
You can prevent a task from being executed automatically by cancelling it. To do so, click the cross (x) button.
In case you want to permanently prevent this task from being automated, make sure to go to the EverRoll™ and update the settings for that pay schedule.
