Opening your Authenticator App
If upon login, you require to input the 6-digit key but you do not have a QR Code, then your account is already set up. What you need to do is to open your Authenticator App which you used on the original setup. There are a variety of Authenticator apps, so there will be differences in how they visually appear. However, the instructions should generally apply just the same.
Retrieving the 6-digit key
Buddy should be listed in the list as in the screenshot above. In some authenticator apps, you might have to click this to view the 6-digit key (as shown in the below screenshot).
Once you access the 6-digit key, simply copy it and write it into your Buddy account to log in.
Resetting MFA Code
If you have reset or changed your phone, you may have lost access to the Authenticator App and your keys. Although it is good practice to back these up and transfer them before changing phones, this is not always possible.
For security purposes, in such cases, send email to support@buddy.hr with your name, ID number and company so that our support team can verify your identity and reset your code.
