Connecting Your Cloud-Based Punch Clock Devices with Buddy

Cloud-Based Punch Sync Integration

If your company uses a cloud-based punch clock, you can set up a live sync integration between the device and Buddy. This will import all your timesheets into Buddy.

Before configuring, ensure your device is connected to the internet (see: Punch Clock's Wifi Setup). The following setting may vary slightly based on your device.

Buddy Configuration on your Punch Clock

Setup of connection to Buddy from your devices:

1. Click on the Menu Button
2. Select System Settings > Click OK
3. Select Communication > Click OK
4. Select ADMS > Click OK
5. Select Server Address and click OK
6. Change the input to read t.buddy.hr
   1. Use the menu button to change the input type from numbers to letters and special characters
   2. Use the 1 to change from upper case to lower case characters
7. Once done click ESC then OK to save the changes.

Important to note that user codes starting with 0 are not natively supported for manual logins. Login with fingerprint only is possible when a code starts with 0. (TimeMoto may not recognise 0 as a starting digit)

Note: After the initial sync, users will be created based on the Employee Reference Code set-up within Buddy. A default password 4321 is set up on new users to allow admin access.
