Summary
This article covers how to create new pay periods for backdated periods, which do not yet exist in Buddy.
How to Generate New Historic Periods
- Go to Settings
- Go to the Pay Schedules setting tab
- Click the down arrow on the right of the schedule, to expand its details
- Click Generate Historic Pay Periods
- Select the Start date of the first period, and end date of the last period
- Click Generate Preview
- Review the pay period dates
- Click Generate Pay Periods to create the periods
Once created, you can now access these from the Payroll History tab.
FAQs
Why are some dates greyed out?
You can only create periods that do not already exist in Buddy. If a pay period for those dates already exists, you will have to access them from Payroll History.
