As 2025 approaches, Buddy continues to focus on the onboarding experience of our customers. This update introduces two methods of importing EPS and Employment Allowance data.
Our team have been working hard on our customer feedback to work on facilitating the importation process from different exportation methods. You'll hear about these in more detail in upcoming updates.

Tax Forms & EPS
We have added two new ways of importing the latest EPS Data for mid-year migrations. During this process, the Tax Forms page also received an update.

New: New EPS Importation methods
- Excel Template and Importation
- User Interface to Import EPS
- Update: The Tax Form pages now include a search feature and are paginated to improve efficiency
- Fix: Resolved an issue where the 'Portal Access' toggle overlapped the download button
- Fix: Resolved an issue where Apprentice Levy was not included in the Tax Forms

Payroll
- Update: A visual warning was added when changing the pay day on the first pay period. This notifies users that their payslips will be cleared so they can start calculations anew.
- Fix: Resolved an issue where payslip could not be saved if totals to date did not include a total tax figure.
People Changes
- Fix: Resolved an issue where the Department was automatically updating when role was changing
- Fix: Resolved an issue which did not automatically update pay items when applying a Grade
Workforce Integration

Update: Leave is now imported with calculation value from Workforce.
When using Workforce as a Costing Method, this will now:- Include overtime calculated on leave applications
- Include leave hours into the base hours for variable-hour employees
