Invite clients to view and manage their company from the Permissions page. On the same page, you can customise the level of permissions.
Note: Inviting Clients requires the company to be on the Collaborator plan.
Inviting a Client
To invite a Client to access the company's Buddy Account:
- Go to the Permissions page
- Click Invite Manager at the top right corner of the People page
- Input their name and email address
- Click Invite
- The client will receive an email to set a password and login
Once they log in, they will be able to access that company
Changing User Permissions
There are three levels of permissions:
- Write (Pencil Icon): The user can view and edit this section
- Read (Eye Icon): The user can view this section but cannot save any changes
- None (No/Cancel Icon): The user cannot view or edit anything within this section
The only exemption to the above is the Payroll Section which when in Write Mode, allows you to apply additional settings for the Payroll Approval Process.
To change any permission, click on the icon within the table. Once all the settings are shown as you would like them to appear, click Save to have these permissions taken into effect.
