Client List
As an advisor, you can access and filter your clients within the Advisor Clients page.
- Go to your Advisor Menu
- Click on Clients
There, you'll be able to view all your existing clients and their status, team, tags and assignees.
Why Assign Details and Apply Filters
One of the core reasons to input data for clients is to streamline operations and ensure business continuity.
For example, by assigning teams and assignees, if there are unexpected changes in your teams' availability, such as resignations or sick leave, one can filter clients that such employees manage and ensure the clients receive uninterrupted service.
Tags can also be used creatively, such as determining the type of clients or payroll. This means that when changes are done on an operational or legislative nature, you'll be able to find those clients quicker to determine impact and course of action.
Filtering Clients
On the top of the Client list, select the filters that you want to apply.
The client list will automatically update based on the applied filters.
Status
Clients can be filtered by their current status:

Setup
Clients that are being onboarded onto Buddy -
Parallel
Clients that are currently in parallel runs -
Active
Clients in which Buddy is actively being used for -
Archived
Archived clients whose payroll is no longer being processed through the bureau
Teams
Teams are user-created fields.
Each client can only be assigned a single team.
Tags
Tags are also user-created fields, but each client can have multiple tags.
The use of tags may depend on your needs and standard procedures. Some examples of how this can be used are by adding tags on the type of industry (e.g. Construction) or types of payroll (Directors Only).
Assignee
Assignees can be selected based on the members added into the Advisor Team.
Each client can have multiple assignees attributed to them. Currently, the assignee functionality is only used for filtering purposes, such as business continuity as mentioned above.
