Report Collections
Report collections are a custom set of .pdf reports that would be automatically merged into a single .pdf file.
Rather than downloading each .pdf report separately, this helps centralise all data into a single file.
Creating a Report Collection
Within the Report Builder: Create Custom Reports:
- Select the Report Type as Report Collection
- In the Report Collection Area
- In the drop-down of Add Report to Collection, search and select the report to add
- In the collection list, drag the order number up/down to re-order the reports
- Click the Delete (Trash) icon to remove a report from the collection
- Save the report template
Limitations
The report collection only supports native .pdf reports, which works best with custom .pdf reports.
Any default reports, particularly .xlsx versions, may not be natively supported for the time being.
Downloading a Report Collection
A report collection will show up under the Reports section similar to any other custom report.
Select the right filters (e.g. pay period) and click Download. Report collections may take longer to download as they generate the .pdf of each report and then combine these into a single file.
