Adjustment Types
-
Carryover
A carryover adjustment will add entitlement and shows as a separate line within the payslip and in balance reports.
-
TOIL (Time Off in Lieu)
A TOIL adjustment generally reflects extra time given for extra work. This is shown as a separate source of entitlement within the payslip, while still increasing the leave balance.
-
Manual
A manual adjustment will reflect as part of the primary entitlement. This is used to increase/deduct the entitlement based on agreed corrections.
-
Consumed
A consumed adjustment will directly add/deduct to the number of Consumed hours (i.e. leave taken). This is particularly useful to correct historic data without adding it backdated.
-
Balance as At
This type of adjustment will only work during imports. It will add a manual or consumed adjustment based on the difference in balances: Importing Leave Adjustments in Bulk from .xlsx Spreadsheets
Downloading Adjustments
Within the Leave Adjustments page, you can click on the print icon to download a report of all the filtered adjustments
TOIL in Payslip
When using TOIL adjustment for Vacation Leave, this adds to the balance of Vacation Leave. In the payslip, this is visible as a separate line of entitlement to show the total hours given as TOIL during the year.
The hours remaining, or balance, will combine all entitlements and adjustments and reduce any consumed leave.
