Apply Grade to Employee
Whether you are adding a new employee or editing someone's salary, the first option in the Salary Details is Grades.
Select the applicable grade from the drop-down menu (as seen in screenshot below) and click Apply Grade on the right side.
Confirm Grade
When you click Apply Grade, you will get a question to Confirm the Grade.
If you want to Apply the Grade from the Previous Salary Details, click Fix a Previous Mistake. Otherwise, click Apply Grade for Another Date.
Selecting Effective Date and Role
If you selected to Apply the Grade from another date, you will be asked for the effective date. Moreover, if your Grade requires specified roles, you can pick a Role from the drop-down menu. Once these are filled in, click to Confirm New Grade
