This update primarily aims to improve the experience of employees and managers that use the employee portal to apply for and manage their leave. Moreover, we introduced new facilities to our payment methods and included a few other Quality of Life updates.

Employee and Manager Portal
The below changes reflect changes in the employee and manager to improve their experience in applying, editing and approving leave.
- New: The hours will automatically be recalculated if the manager edits Time In or Time Out for an existing single-day application.
- Update: Employees cannot accidentally apply for negative hours if they put in a Time Out that occurs before the Time In
- Update: Applications will no longer show entitlement as 0 hours if the settings prevent the employee from viewing the balance of that leave type. Instead, no balance is shown for such applications.
- Update: Upgrades have been made to the user interface, particularly pertaining to the scroll bars and employee list for the manager portal
- Update: The manager portal will no longer freeze if a day in a multi-day leave is edited to no hours. The blank input will be handled as 0, and save the leave applications accordingly.
People Page
In our recent updates, some of our previous features were temporarily disabled. These have now returned after a short downtime.
- Fix: Date of Birth is again required when creating new employees.
- Fix: The option to reset the MFA has returned to the Employee Details page.
- Fix: Users can again see and edit the PE Number for employees employed full-time elsewhere.
Billing
Our team has added tools to remove existing credit cards and ways to pay via bank transfer where a credit card subscription is not possible.
- New: Our team has created a new section, Payments on Accounts, that includes a unique reference code, an estimated fee calculator and our bank details. We recommend you read the instructions at Paying Buddy Subscription via Bank Transfer.
- New: Credit Cards can now be deleted. Please ensure that you still have an active and valid payment method.
Other:
- Hotfix: A hotfix for the Timesheet & Leave Reports was uploaded the previous week as an error was blocking its generation.
- Fix: In Run Payroll, the number of employees 'not ready' has been updated to display an accurate number.
- Fix: The Generate Remaining Payslips button now shows in all companies, regardless if they have departments or not
- Fix: When creating a New Company, the new company will no longer copy custom leave settings from the previous active company.
