Buddy is releasing a new feature: Employee Documents! Upload and store documents of any type, such as contracts and work permits, on the employee profiles.

Employee Documents
Buddy's introducing Documents as its new feature, where users can upload documents and certifications to the employee profile. Users can manage custom document types and set expiration dates on documents.
- New: Configure and create custom document types within the Settings
- New: Within the employee's profile, upload documents and set Expiry Dates, if applicable
- New: The Reports section includes an Employee Document report which includes document names, types and expiry dates
Timesheet Settings
As of this update, Buddy will disable companies from enabling the Mobile Clock-In option. Current users who have this setting enabled can continue to make use of this feature. For newer customers, we recommend using tailored T&A systems that integrate with Buddy.
- Update: The Enable Mobile Clock-In option has been hidden and can no longer be enabled. If you would want to disable this feature, please contact our support team.
Other Changes
- Update: Added a search field within the Payslips Page to easier navigate and find payslips
- Fix: Fixed instances where not all payslips were visible within the Payslip Page
- Update: Users are no longer allowed to insert commas in payroll figures
- Update: The Portal Access toggle in the FS3 page is no longer be selectable if the employee does not have a Buddy employee account
- Update: The Invite by Department option will no longer be visible if the company is not using any Departments
- Update: The Calculate Backdated Public Holiday (TOIL) feature has been updated to disregard overnight timesheets from TOIL Due, if the overnight hours are more than 3 hours.
