Release Summary
Today we bring a very exciting change! Our team has updated the Help Centre with a new layout and several new forms and features. We expect this to further improve our already-excellent customer service and customer experience.
Moreover, our product release brings a few minor changes, including:
- New columns in the Leave Situation Report
- Resolution of errors when generating FS4s or JobsPlus forms
- A pro-active update to September bonus date

Release Notes
New Help Centre
Although not directly part of our product, the Help Centre is critical for the operation and positive experience of our customers.
Our team has revamped the Help Centre. We encourage everyone to read the announcement here: Important Updates to Buddy's Help Centre.
Technical Configuration
In the morning of Friday 1st September, our technical team made some changes to backend configuration to improve consistency.
Shortly after this, our customers experienced difficulty with specific features, such as generating new tax forms. Our team acted upon this immediately, and all features were fully functional by 9:32am. We apologise for the inconvenience to any impacted customer, but we'll also take this opportunity to highlight that all related support requests were closed and resolved within less than an hour.
On behalf of the Customer Success team, we want to thank all our teams for their collaboration and quick action in resolving this.
Payroll and Pay Periods
- Hotfix: The September bonus will now be automatically included in the September monthly payroll. This should have had no practical impact, as 99.9% of clients would not have prepared a September payroll before September.
Our team made other minor adjustments to when the bonuses get paid to improve this functionality. - Fix: Resolved an issue that prevented the saving of payslips when a custom fixed tax rate was used.
- Fix: Added validation to ensure no duplicate weekly payrolls are created; in the unusual circumstances, dates were adjusted to span shorter than 7 days.
Other Changes
- New: The Leave Situation Report will now include two new columns: ID Card and Employee Reference Code.
- New: Added additional validation in the Company Creation to prevent companies being created with unnamed allowances and overtimes
- Fix: Resolved an issue with generation of FS4s
- Fix: Resolved an issue with the generation of JobsPlus Engagement & Termination Forms
