Release Notes
People
When adding new employees, you can now add the Original Date of Employment, which impacts sick leave entitlement and is included in reporting. This is particularly useful when you have employees transferring from one sister company to the other.
- New: Introducing new features relating to Original Date of Employment
- Users can now add Original Date of Employment on new profiles
- Sick Leave entitlement based on Wage Regulation Orders will now check the original date of employment instead of the new date of employment
- Original Date of Employment has been set as non-required when amending engagement dates
- Included this date in existing employee data reports
- Fix: Ticking the Responsible Spouse toggle will now save when updating employee details
Run Payroll
We have released improvements to our AccuPay™ functionality, as well as few other UX improvements in the Run Payroll page.
- AccuPay™ (Process Timesheets):
- Update: Released an update to ensure no SSC is paid for part-timers working less than 8 hours in any week
- Fix: Resolved an issue where the timesheet spanning from a Saturday Public Holiday to a Sunday where similar overtime rates applied was causing incorrect calculations.
For now, anyone who calculates overtime at 3.0 using both Sunday and Public Holiday should contact us so that the rules can be checked and amended per latest update.
- Fix: Any warnings of upload allowances will now show the employee IDs to identify the non-imported lines easily
- Fix: Resolved an interaction where a recurring allowance for employees on reduced hours was re-calculating on a basis of 173.33 when users used exact hours
Workforce Integration
Workforce integration allows users to maintain live data synced between Buddy and Workforce. Our team has prepared two further updates to improve the syncing of this data.
- Update: Released an update relating to token expiration, which was preventing some timesheets from being synced
- Update: Released an update to re-enable the sync of leave balances onto Workforce
- Buddy now sends the entitled amount, and then Workforce will show and calculated both the entitled and the current balance
Other Updates
- Update: Tax Forms have been updated to reflect Share Options and their custom tax rate, which were introduced in the last update
- Update: In the employee portal, after adding a leave with a comment, the next leave application will not start with the same comment.
- New: Work Locations pin now asks for GPS to set the starting point based on your current location.
- Fix: When calculating leave on a pro-rata balance, future termination dates will no longer override the pro-rata balance
