- New: Pay period reports (i.e. the .pdf report downloadable from the Payroll History) can now be downloaded from the Reports page. The reports page now includes a Pay Period filter that will be used for these reports.
Workforce Integration
Our team released several changes to Workforce Integration, including the following:
- New: The import functions now has an employee filter, allowing users to import data for only one employee at a time. This is introduced both in the timesheets and the leave page.
This is useful if you update Workforce data backdated or add a new employee with a late sync. - Update: Improvements to the efficiency of the daily sync, which imports timesheets and leave each night.
- Update: When importing leave, Buddy will now import any updated status (e.g. if the leave was then declined, this will then be deleted on Buddy)
- Update: Process Timesheets using Workforce Costing
- Updated the UI of the Process Timesheets (workforce costing) to mention where there are pay items that do not match
- Updated the checks to base costs, allowing for more flexibility when employees are paid at multiple base rates
- Updated the UI of Run Payroll to show the effective rate of Overtime when this is higher than the base rate
- Update: In the integration settings, leave types now support a one-to-many link, i.e. any type of Buddy leave can be mapped with multiple Workforce types.
Our team has also built a new article for our Workforce customers: Buddy Payroll Process for Workforce Users
