Director Employees
To add directors to the payroll, start by Adding a New Employee: Adding a New Employee
Once you arrive at the Salary Details page, change the Employment Type to Director. Doing so will allow this employee to Skip any auto-enrolment regulations.
Director's National Insurance Contributions
In the Tax Details section, Directors can be opted-in for either Annual or Alternative methods.
The Annual method of calculation will calculate NI based on the total yearly income to date compared to the annual limits, whereas the Alternative method will use standard calculations per pay period.
