Salary Details
The Salary details determine the rate of pay and standard entitlements.
- Enter the Salary amount
- Select the frequency of pay in the field Every (per Hour, Day, Week, Month or Year)
- Select the Employment Type (Full-time, Part-Time, External Contractor or Director)
- Fill in the correct Working Hours setup (see further below for more explanation)
- Add any Overtime or Special Rates that the employee is eligible for
- Add any Recurring pay items
Working Hours Setup
The following options are related to the employee's working hours, and have an influence on items such as payslip printing, reports, and holiday entitlement.

Variable Hours:
Tick if the employee works varying hours each week, such as part-timers.-
Auto Pay Holiday at 12.07%
Only available to employees on variable hours, employees can have their holiday pay automatically included as rolled-up holiday pay. This option is recommended if required on individual employees instead of enabled for all in Leave Settings -
Expected Hours
Submitted to HMRC in the FPS is the expected hours of work.
This can be selected manually once variable hours is toggled.

Working Days:
Select the working days of the employee. This will affect how Leave and Timesheet applications are calculated. -
Weekly Hours:
Insert the average number of hours an employee works in a week. This will have an influence both on payslip data as well
