Integrating Buddy with BambooHR

To connect Buddy with BambooHR, you must first create an API key from BambooHR's platform. Once you are logged in, you will need to:

  • Click on your account profile
  • Click on API Keys

  • Click Add New Key

  • Type in the Name of the new API Key

  • Click Generate
  • Click Copy Key to copy the key to your clipboard to paste it into Buddy

Entering Sub-domain and API Key to Buddy:

  • Go to Company Settings
  • Go to Integrations Section
  • Click on the Connect button next to BambooHR

  • Fill in your Subdomain and API Key information and Connect.

  • The following message should come up

Once this is done, you will need to map the data parameters from Buddy to BambooHR. The first field to set is the Leave Types.
