Import and Map Departments from BambooHR

After Mapping Fields Between Buddy and BambooHR, if you have mapped the Department in the Role Details, you can import all BambooHR Departments into Buddy.

Mapping the Department Field

1. Go to Company Setting
2. Click Integrations
3. Open the drop-down under BambooHR
4. Open the drop-down under Role
5. Map the field Department on Buddy with Department on BambooHR (see screenshot below).
6. Click Save at the bottom of the BambooHR section

Import Departments from BambooHR

Once the Department field is mapped, return to the top of the BambooHR Integration Settings and an Import Departments Button will be visible

• Click Import Departments
• Select the Departments to be imported

You will then be given the option to either:

• Import
  This will import the departments into Buddy, but you would need to map them manually.
• Import and Map Fields
  This will import the departments into Buddy and automatically map them with BambooHR. Once mapped, you can resync and the department information for each employee will update.
