Mapping BambooHR Leave Types with Buddy

While Mapping Fields Between Buddy and BambooHR, you may have noticed that the Leave Types require a different setup.

For this section, you will find the BambooHR Leave types on the left-hand side, whereas Buddy's available leave types are on the right-hand side.

How to Map the Leave Types

On the right-hand side of each leave type that you want to import, select the corresponding leave type on Buddy. You may notice that there is a scroll bar, which you can use (or type in the drop-down menu) to find the corresponding leave type easier.

You may have some leave types on BambooHR that you do not require to import. In such cases, you can keep these without a mapped field.

Save the Updated Mappings

At the bottom right of the BambooHR integration settings, click the Save button to save any changes you have made.

Related Information on Leave Types

The leave types available on Buddy by default are those required in the local legislation. If your company has other custom leave types, such as Study Leave, you would be able to create these from the Leave Settings.
