What will AccuPay™ do?
After inputting timesheets through your preferred method, you can utilise AccuPay™'s key functionality, Process Timesheets. Before clicking Process Timesheets, make sure that you have updated the cut-off dates, if applicable.
By aligning leave and timesheet entries to the set Time & Attendance rules, Buddy can compute the intricacies of payroll, such as overtime and hourly allowances.
What does Process Timesheets do?
At first, you will receive a prompt showing the employees who have not met their target hours. Here, you will see data such as their leave balance, their worked basic hours, target hours, and under hours. In this prompt, users can decide actions on the underworked hours, such as ignoring it (and paying it), utilising it from vacation or unpaid leave, or even reducing it from Time Off in Lieu (TOIL).
Before submitting, you can also download the Process Timesheets Report. This report can show you a week-by-week breakdown of timesheets and their calculations.
Upon submitting the Process Timesheets prompt, AccuPay™ will apply all rules to input the following details in the payslip:
- Basic Hours
- Overtime (including different rates, such as x1.5 and x2 for Sundays)
- Custom Allowances (such as an hourly nightly allowance between 8pm and 6am)
- Leave Applications
- Auto-Created Public Holiday Leave
What makes AccuPay™ so Accurate?
AccuPay™ lives up to its name, providing unparalleled accuracy. Here are some key reasons as to why you should want it:
-

Automated SSC Weeks:
Employees on exact hour pay will have their SSC weeks calculated based on an the average hours per week, making sure that employees who turn in few hours a month don't pay excessive SSC. -
Detection of Underworked Hours:
Employees that worked less than the scheduled hours will be immediately flagged. By reviewing these before preparing payslips, you are capturing anomalies and taking action right away. -
Comprehensive Timesheet Reports:
You can extract rich data from the Timesheet & Leave and Process Timesheet reports. Based on your settings, the Process Timesheet report may display a week-by-week breakdown, providing details on the overtime and allowances being granted each week! -
Customisable Time and Attendance Rules:
Every business is unique, and being able to tailor the time and attendance rules is necessary. The customisations allow for legally compliant payroll by handling several scenarios revolving around Public Holidays, Overtime, and company-specific allowances, such as night allowances or shift bonuses. -
Weekly Breakdown in Payslip:
The breakdown that is mentioned in the Process Timesheet Report can also be included in the employee's payslip! When the payslip explains itself, you avoid a tennis back-and-forth between your employee and HR.
-
Payslips with Multiple Rates:
Changes in salary rates within the pay period are automatically split and used to calculate the hours worked in those respective periods. This means that when calculating overtime or allowances backdated, Buddy will utilise the original rates of pay for when that overtime or allowance was worked in.
