Why should I integrate with Workforce?
Workforce is a rostering software that helps you schedule, manage staff costs, automate timesheets, and gain live insights, with the ability to push information to Buddy seamlessly.
The integrations will sync timesheets, leave applications and balances for your employees, saving the payroll team countless hours from repeating the same data across the two platforms.
Moreover, you will be able to utilise our AccuPay™ functionality and ensure that timesheets are calculated into overtime and allowances.
Below are some essential guides to connect your Workforce with Buddy.

Information on Automatic Syncs
The above links contain information on how to import timesheets and leave manually. This is useful when importing backdated information, and we always recommend using this import before payroll.
In addition, Buddy has an active sync that automatically obtains the timesheet and leave data, both through active webhooks and a daily nightly sync.
Leave Balance Sync
Upon data syncing, a new entitlement is recalculated and sent to Workforce
Full-Time Employees
The entitlement that includes normal entitlement and adjustments (like carryover and TOIL) is sent to Workforce as the Starting Balance.
This should generally remain the same unless there are new adjustments, or change in conditions (e.g. termination date)
Part-Time Employees
Employees marked as variable hours will have a dynamic entitlement calculated. This will use 2 elements:
- Entitlement based on hours already paid in previous payslips
- Entitlement based on unprocessed timesheets
By having a dynamic entitlement, the employees will accrue leave based on the hours they work, without having to wait for the end of payroll.
