Once payroll is concluded, you can click the Email Employees button, as shown in the screen below.
Once you click the button, you will be shown the following prompt:
By clicking Send xx Payslips, an email will be sent to all employees (with an email address) that their payslips can be viewed.
The employees can then log into the employee portal and View Payslips.
New Employees
New employees without a Buddy account will be automatically sent a Welcome to Buddy email with an invite to register their password.
This only applies if the Include PDF Attachment option is not enabled.
Include PDF Attachment
By sending the PDF attachment within the email, the employees can download the payslip directly from their email. However, should the email be intercepted, there is no login security that prevents others from viewing this payslip. Therefore, we suggest you only use this option with great caution.
Payslips sent via .pdf will still be available to be accessed from the employee portal, should the employee have an existing account.
Sending Payslips from Payroll History
If you have already concluded the payroll in a previous session, you can send the payslips by clicking Actions and then Send Payslips in the Payroll History instead (see: Payroll History Overview).
Employee Portal
A secure email and password login can access the employee portal, allowing employees to access all of their published payslips from one page.
Inviting employees is easy (see Inviting an Employee to their Employee Portal) and will only need to be done once. This will also be done automatically if payslips are sent without PDF attachments.
