Inviting an Employee
Whenever you complete adding a new employee, you are able to Invite the employee right away. If you have skipped the screen, you can also invite them at any point by viewing the Employee Details and clicking "Invite Employee" on the top right.
Account Access
The employees will now have access to their employee portal once they set a password. They will be able to:
- View Payslips you send through Buddy
- View and Apply for Leave (check Leave Application Settings (for Employee Portal) on how to change these permissions)
- View and Add Timesheets (check Timesheet Settings on how to enable these)
Your employees can also access the Help Center for assistance with resetting passwords and other frequently asked questions.
Bulk Invite per Department
Inviting Employees in Bulk can be achieved by going to People Page and clicking "Invite Employees".
This will open a pop-up to let you select which Department you want to invite.
Automatic Invites with Payslips
When sending payslips through Buddy, Buddy will check if the employee has an account created or not. If no account exists, Buddy will automatically send an invite email right after their first payslip.
Note that the automatic invite is not applied if payslips are sent as a .pdf attachment.
